24 Hours Through Romania

We crossed the boarder of Hungary and Romania at midnight our passports were checked and stamped as we made our way through the early morning. The inns were shut,  passing power plants, packs of dogs as we slowed down.

At 5 am when we made it to the bottom of the Transalpina highway, the sky turning blue, sunrise over way.

Pulling over; to sleep in the car. At 10 a.m we awoke in an oven, drooling, groggy and incoherent.
The following set of images begin here, as we headed over the mountains all the way to a bohemian town on the Black Sea called ‘Varme Veche’.

The story ends at the boarder crossing in Bulgaria all in the space of 24 hours.
